A Foggy Day
A foggy day, in london town.
Had me low, had me down.
I
viewed the morning, with much alarm.
The british museum, had lost it's charm.
How long I wondered, would this dream last.
But the age of miracles, hadn't
past.
Then suddenly I saw you there.
And in that foggy london town, the
sun was shining everywhere.
Stormy Weather
Don't know why
There's no sun up in the sky
Stormy
weather
Since my gal and I ain't together
Keeps raining all the time
Life is bare
Gloom and misery everywhere
Stormy weather
Just can't get my poor old self together
I'm weary all the time
Every time
So weary all of the
time
When she went away
The blues walked in and then they met me
If she stays away
That old rocking chair's bound to get me
All I do is
pray
The lord above will let me
Just walk in that sun again
Can't go on
Everything I had is gone
Stormy weather
Since my gal and I ain't together
Keeps
raining all the time
Keeps raining all of the time
Windmills Of Your Mind
Round,
Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a
wheel
Never ending or beginning
On an ever-spinning reel
Like a
snowball down a mountain
Or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that's
turning
Running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are
sweeping
Past the minutes on its face
And the world is like an apple
Spinning silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills
of your mind
Like a tunnel that you follow
To a tunnel of its own
Down
a hollow to a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps
revolving
In a half-forgotten dream
Like the ripples from a pebble
Someone tosses in a stream
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the
minutes on its face
And the world is like an apple
Spinning silently in
space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind
Keys
that jingle in your pocket
Words that jangle in your head
Why did summer
go so quickly?
Was it something that I said?
Lovers walk along a shore
And leave their footprints in the sand
Was the sound of distant drumming
Just the fingers of your hand?
Pictures hanging in a hallway
Or the
fragment of a song
Half-remembered names and faces
but to whom do they
belong?
When you knew that it was over
Were you suddenly aware
That the
autumn leaves were turning
To the colour of her hair?
Like a circle in a
spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning
On an
ever-spinning reel
As the images unwind
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind
Walk On By
If you see me walkin' down the street
And I start to cry,
each time we meet
Walk on by, walk on by
Make believe that you don't see the tears
Just let me
grieve in private
'Cos each time that I see you, I break down and cry
Walk
on by, walk on by, just walk on by
Oh, 'cause I just can't get over losin' you
And if I seem
broken and blue
Walk on by, walk on by
Foolish pride is all that I have left
So let me hide the
tears and all the sadness
That you gave me when you said, "Goodbye"
Walk
on by, walk on by
Walk on by, just walk on by
Walk on by, walk on by
Foolish pride is all that I have
left
So let me hide the tears and all the sadness
That you gave me when
you said, "Goodbye"
And walked on by, just walk on by
Now you really gotta go so walk on by
Now you really gotta
go so walk on by
Baby, leave me never see the tears I cry
Baby, leave me
never see the tears I cry
Just walk on by
Walk on
White Rabitt
Are we really happy here with this lonely game we play,
Looking for words to say,
Searching but not finding understanding any way,
We're lost in a masquerade.
Both afraid to say we're just too far away,
From being
close together from the start,
We tried to talk it over but the words got in
the way,
We're lost inside this lonely game we play.
Thoughts of weeping disappear every time I see your eyes,
No matter how hard I try, oh,
To understand the reasons that we carry on this
way,
We're lost in a masquerade.
Thoughts of weeping disappear every time I see your eyes,
No matter how hard I try, oh,
To understand the reasons that we carry on this
way,
We're lost in a masquerade.
Nature Boy
There was a boy
Very strange
Enchanted boy;
They say be wander'd very
far
Very far over land and sea.
A little shy and sad of eye
But very wise
Very wise was be.
And then one day
A magic day he passed my way
And while we spoke of many things
Fools and kings
This he said to me:
The greatest thing
you'll ever learn
Is just to love and be loved in return
To be loved in
return.
And then one day...
Love Ballad
I have never been so much
In love, in love before
What a
difference
How true love made in my life
So nice and so right
Lovers come and then lovers go
That's what the people say
Don't they know
How it feels when you love me
Hold me and say you care
And what we have is much more than they can see
And what we have is much more
than they can see
Baby what we have is much more than they see
Oh baby,
whoa yeah
I'm in love, I'm in love with you girl
I say love I never knew that a touch
Could mean, could mean
so much
What a difference
And when we walk hand in hand
I feel, I feel
so real
Lovers come and then lovers go
That's what the people say
Don't they know
How I feel when you love me
Hold me and say you care
And what we have is much more than they can see
And what we have is much more
than they can see
Baby, what we have is much more than they can see
Oh, yeah
Portrait Of Jennie
A Portrait of Jennie
More precious to me
Than a
masterpiece
How ever famous it be
The portrait of Jennie
Is etched on my heart
Where her
features have been
Sketched from the start
Ah, the color and beauty of life
And the glow of her spirit
divine
All cast in heaven's own design
With a portrait of Jennie
I never will part
For there
isn't any portrait of Jennie
Except in my heart
For there isn't any portrait of Jennie
Except in my heart
